1. What is Cellulite ?
Celluite is a fatty tissue trapped in the subcutaneous layer of skin. The subcutaneous layer has thin bonds of connective tissue which feel like tough fibers. These fibrers are lined with fat cells which help in protecting our muscles and organs. When our body system works effectively, all the waste material and toxins are removed, as a result of which we get smooth curves. But if the waste material gets trapped in the skin, the connective tissue becomes rigid, thereby giving a dimpled effect. Cellulite is sometimes confused with fat which is not true. Whereas, fat protects our muscles, nerves and organs, cellulite provides no padding whatsoever. Mostly, women and men surffer from cellulite which is stored in the hips, thighs, abdomen and the lower back.
